Let’s establish how life was for some guys a few years ago. It was like Dante’s inferno or the joy by Georges Bernanos. Hard labor work, black long days with continuous thunder in the sky, no fine education was ever offered to labor class children in those days. The book Elise or the true life by Claire Etcherelli paints this in broad sweeping brushes and many minute details.
Such a Life was not a dream in rosy color and perpetual squeezing of cuddle toys. No soft voices anywhere, shrill insisting demanding voices everywhere. A bitter fight that lasted to the end of every possible endurance. A reality that was the opposite to an inspirational dream, a nightmare it was.
Such was the life of my late father that I Honor on the Father’s Day.
